Skin Transformation❤️ “Anyone who suffers from skin conditions worsened by stress can relate to how hard the last year has been with trying to manage it. My eczema flared back up in places it hasn’t for years. I’ve grown up reluctantly reaching for my steroid cream in flare-up moments, hoping to one day be able to manage without it. During the winter lockdown, I decided to re-educate myself around my skin condition with an aim to holistically nurture my skin and accompanied mental health. Inspired by Dr. Sturm’s anti-inflammatory lifestyle, I focused on improving specific areas of wellness in my life like exercise, sleep, eco-therapy and saving space in my day for skincare. I challenged myself to eat over 30 different plant-based foods a week - ensuring my vegan diet was always varied and nutrient dense and I aimed for at least one long walk a day, which in hand reduced my stress levels. And of course, I allowed myself some deserved me-time with my Dr. Sturm skincare routine. ❤️ Ava’s journey to CONFIDENCE ⁣ ⁣ “Whenever I looked in the mirror, I saw a pimple riddled little girl with no confidence. At the age of 16, I would cry at the dermatologist and put boatloads of concealer over my cystic acne in an attempt to look more approachable. I was too insecure to talk with people because I was convinced everyone was staring at my horrible skin. After thousands of dollars worth of topical creams, painful treatments and drugs, I began to lose trust in my derm. Since using Dr. Barbara Sturm’s products for about a year and a half, I’ve never been more confident. If I were stranded on an desert island, the first items I would take would be her products!
